The autoshotgun has a large clip and can fire quickly, but is maximized in short range combat. Parnell: The Burst damage dealer of the 3, but like the other 'tier 3' characters, Parnell requires more finesse, due to the fact his weapons need precision. Combine the grenades with Hyde's flametthrower, and he has excellent area control and massive amounts of damage. The minigun is okay, not as accurate as an assault rifle, but the sheer amount of bullets it spits out is forgiving. The flamethrower's range may be short, but the damage builds up quickly and it leaves a burning dot on the monster. Hyde: By far as most people say, has the most DPS of the team. His DPS may not be high, but a monster hits the 1 or 2 mines WHILE you're lightning them, it adds up really REALLY fast. This allows Markov to adapt to different strategies. The assault rifle is reliable, and the arc mines have SO many uses. Markov: An excellent starting assault The Lightning gun does VERY solid, constant damage, tracks a target as long as your crossair is close, and can arc off multiple targets. ![]() I would not know if there is a 'best' assault, perhaps a fav?
